John Morrison was married to Mary W. Hodsden the 6th day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty six.
Rev. Wm. Conner Blount was married to Julia A. Morrison
30th September 1852 by Rev. H. B. Cowles. Issue 6
children 5 died in infancy.
Charles R. Morrison was married to Maria Louise Stagg
May 1861 in Richmond, Va. Issue one child died in
Ida Lee Morrison was married to Somerville Gray
youngest son of the late James Gray of Richmond Va. in
Washington St. Church by Rev. C. H. Hall in October
13th 1869. Issue 6 children, 2 died in infancy.
John Joseph Morrison was married to Mary Waller
Morrison of Wmburg. in Danville Va. by Rev. Dr. Dame
October 1884. No issue.
Joseph B. Hodsden was married to Mary Pasteur the 23rd
day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand
seven hundred and seventy nine.
John Morrison the son of John Morrison and Jane his
wife, was born July 5th 1802.
Edwin Morrison the son of John Morrison and Jane his
wife was born Jany. 13th 1805.
Mary W. Hodsden the daughter of Joseph B. and Mary
Hodsden was born April 30th 1804.
John Joseph Morrison the son of John Morrison and Mary
his wife was borne 21st day of October in the year of
our Lord eighteen hundred and twenty seven. Was
baptised the 5th of March 1828 by the Rev. Allen R.
Maria Jane Morrison the daughter of John Morrison and
Mary his wife was born the 18th of October in the year
of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty nine.
Was baptized the 30th of April 1830 by the Rev. Allen
Julia Ann Morrison the daughter of John Morrison and
Mary his wife was born the 6th day of January in the
year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty
two. Baptized in the year of our Lord 1832 by the Rev.
John D. Holstead.
Chas. Robert Morrison the son of John Morrison and Mary
his wife was born the 39th January 1834. Was baptized
by Rev. Davaney on the 13th of July 1834.
Sarah Virginia Morrison daughter of John Morrison &
Mary his wife was born April 16th 1837. Was Baptized
in December 1837 by Rev. Allen R. Bernard.
Edwin James Morrison the son of John and Mary Morrison
was born Decr. 5th 1838.
William Hodsden Morrison the son of John & Mary
Morrison was born Jany. 28th 1841. Was baptized Decr.
25th 1843 by Rev. D. Wood.
Euclid Taylor Morrison the son of John Morrison and
Mary his wife was born the 23rd of June 1844. Was
baptized 2nd of Feby. 1845 by the Rev. John Early.
Ida Lee Morrison daughter of John Morrison and Mary his
wife was born Novr. 5th 1849. Was baptized Feby. 21st
1850 by the Rev. A. R. Bernard.
Mary Hodsden departed this life the 9th of October 1837
in her 57th year ___ the triumphs of faith.
Jane Jordan the mother of John & Edwin Morrison
departed this life in April 1839 in full hopes of
everlasting life Amen.
Sarah Virginia Morrison died the 29th of Jany. 1842.
James Edwin Morrison died the 23rd of June 1843.
Maria Jane Morrison died the 30th day of July 1859.
Euclid Taylor Morrison was killed in the battlefield of
Malvern Hill in Charles City county on 1st of July
1862 while leading his company in a charge on the
Wm. Hodsden Morrison died the 5th of March 1868 in
Memphis Tenn. from the effects of Yellow Fever after a
painfull illness of five months.
Mary Wilson Morrison died the 15th March 1871 after
long months of suffering. We have hope that she is now
at rest in that life where pain and suffering are felt
no more - the reward of the faithfull.
John Morrison died in Richmond Va. Jan. 17, 1877. In
full hope of blissful immortality. Buried in
Blandford, Petersburg Va.
Julia A. Morrison Blount died in Richmond Va. July 27th
1877. Interred in Blandford, Petersburg, Va.
Charles R. Morrison was drowned near Wilex Wharf, James
River ion Dec. 20, 1880. Buried in Hollywood Richmd.
January 14th 1881.
John Joseph Morrison died of Paralysis in Richmond Va.
May 23, 1893. Interred in Hollywood, Richmond.
